Releasing of film posters on Twitter seems to be the latest promotional trend picked by Bollywood superstars.
Earlier, it was Salman Khan who released the poster of his film Jai Ho on twitter for his fans.
SRK took to Twitter to share his happiness on the launch of the poster. "I hope you like the poster for the film 'Happy New Year'. All that begins this year or ends this year for you, may it be the best for each one of you," SRK tweeted Thursday.
The film is slated to release this Diwali.
The latest is Shah Rukh Khan, who unveiled the poster of Farah Khan- directed film Happy New Year (HNY) , on Wednesday midnight, on the social networking site.
Keeping the promise made to his fans, Shah Rukh Khan unveiled the first look of his latest movie, Happy New Year as he tweeted, " I hope you like the poster for the film @ HNY. All that begins this year or ends this year for u, may it be the best for each one of u.( sic) Love." An online campaign was created on Twitter, to make the first look of the film emerge as the most talked about topics.
By early morning, the poster was successfully trending on twitter with fans eagerly tweeting about their excitement to see the film, which also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani. Taking help of technology, the makers of HNY came up with a personalised message poster from the stars, for all fans.
" My dream project Happy New Year takes another step towards realisation with the first poster being launched today. I believe in cinema that entertains and with a dream cast like this, we hope it will be the most entertaining film of the year. Shah Rukh and I have had a dream partnership always and with this our third collaboration we hope it will be a very Happy New Year indeed!" said Farah Khan.
